Troubleshooting: Accessing the Java Log files for the Advanced Uploader

To troubleshoot the Advanced Uploader, you first need to open the Java Control Panel.


On Windows:

  1. Go to the Control Panel and open Java
  2. In the Advanced tab, activate the option "Show console" under Java console:



On Mac:

  1. Go to the System Preferences and click on the Java icon
  2. Within the Java Control Panel, go to the Advanced tab and activate the option "Show console" under Java console:


Once it's enabled, reopen the Advanced Uploader.

As you can see, the Java console will now open with it.


You can now copy the text from the console and send it to Canto Support.
