How to download assets individually

Option 1 - Preview:

  1. Tap on the thumbnail to open up the preview.
    In the preview you will find the download-icon in the toolbar (second from the right).
    Note: If you do not see the toolbar make sure to tap on the preview.
  2. Downloading a single asset via the preview will save the asset (if it's an image or video) to your Photos App.
  3. Alternatively you can select the asset by tapping Select and marking it (How to Select Assets) and proceeding like you would do with a bulk-download (see below).


Option 2 - Quick Access:

  1. Tap the More-icon (three vertical dots) of an asset.
    Note: In the Masonry View the quick access is not available.

How to download assets in bulk

  1. Select the files you want to download.

  2. Type in a name for the ZIP-file.
    Note: A ZIP-file compresses the files for downloading which does not mean that your files quality/size gets lowered or damaged.
  3. You will now have the option to send the ZIP file to your contacts via AirDrop, Messages and social apps.
    You can also select Save to Files and unpack the file there.
    Note: Depending on your iOS device this may vary. Tap Edit Actions... to customize the options to your preference.

How to download an album

  1. In your library you will find the More-icon (three vertical dots) next to the album's name.
  2. Tap on Download.
  3. Type in a name for the ZIP-file.
    Note: A ZIP-file compresses the files for downloading which does not mean that your files quality/size gets lowered or damaged.
  4. You will now have the option to send the ZIP file to your contacts via AirDrop, Messages and social apps.
    You can also select Save to Files and unpack the file there.

How to download albums in bulk

  1. Tap Select and mark all the albums you would like to download.
  2. Tap the Download-icon in the toolbar.
  3. Type in a name for the ZIP-file.

  4. You will now have the option to send the ZIP file to your contacts via AirDrop, Messages and social apps.

How to download a folder

The procedure is the same as for albums (see above).


Where to find your downloads

  • Within the app:
    Home Screen > Main Library > My DownloadsUser Profile > Download History


  • On your iOS device:
    If you downloaded single assets they will be located in your camera roll/photos app.
    If you downloaded a ZIP file you have chosen the location. If you saved them to your files, go ahead and open the files app.

How to unpack your ZIP-file on your iOS-device

  1. Tap on the ZIP-file. It will automatically unpack and create a folder in the same location.
  2. Open the folder. Here you will find all the assets.
  3. Tap on a thumbnail or select multiple files.
  4. Tap on the Share-icon in the bottom-left corner.
  5. Select Save Image in order to transfer them to your camera roll.

Download history / my downloads

Here you will see a list of your most recent downloads.

In this menu you can re-download the files, share them with others or copy them without leaving the app.
