The Canto-Workfront integration allows you to search for Canto assets and insert them into Workfront projects.
How to use Canto's Adobe Workfront Integration
- Navigate to a project within Workfront.
- Select Documents, and then From Canto.
- The Canto search window will pop up. This allows you to browse your Canto folder tree.
Note: An album will display up to 500 assets.
- You may also use the search bar to search your entire Canto library.
The search will return up to 200 results, including folders, albums and assets.
How to insert assets
You can insert a single asset by selecting the file and clicking Link.
Note: Files from your Cold Storage cannot be added.
Select multiple files, then click Link to insert them in bulk.
How to insert folders and albums, both individually and in bulk
- Select the desired folder(s)/album(s).
- Click Link once all the folders or albums are selected.
This inserts all sub folders, albums, and up to 500 assets from each album into the Workfront project.
How to insert multiple files, folders or albums in bulk by using the list view
- You can insert files in bulk by selecting the list view on the top right.
- Navigate to the location of the assets and select them.
- Then click on Link to insert them.
This inserts all sub folders, albums, and up to 500 assets from each album into the Workfront project.
How to send files from Adobe Workfront to Canto
- Navigate to the Documents section of the project or task in Workfront.
- Select a file to send or select multiple files using Workfront’s list view.
- Click the Send to arrow and select Canto.
- Choose the destination Canto album and select save.
- Files will be sent over to Canto.
Note: If you attempt to upload to a Canto folder, you will run into this error:
