How to access your Canto library in Hootsuite

To connect your Canto library to your Hootsuite account:

  

  1. Open My profile in the bottom left corner.
  2. Click Install Hootsuite apps.
  3. Search for "canto". Make sure to install your specific app depending on your Canto region. You can choose between these four apps:
    • Canto - US
    • Canto - Global
    • Canto - Germany
    • Canto - Canada
  4. After the installation open Create > Post from the toolbar.

  5. Under Content, open the media library by clicking the book-icon.Text, application

  6. Select Canto from the list.

  7. There are two options to sign in, depending if your user account has been created in Canto or in your Identity Provider (using SSO).

    Login using Canto account: 
    Enter your Canto account credentials and click on Sign In if your user account has been created in Canto.Login using account:
    Enter your tenant name only and click on Login with SSO if your user account has been created in your Identity Provider.

Canto’s Hootsuite integration allows social media teams to search Canto and attach images to posts without leaving the Hootsuite composer.

  • Perform a global keyword search to find files. Available file types are: .jpeg, .jpg, .png and .gif.
    Note: That image files visible in the Canto search are < 14 MB because it's Hootsuite's limit for file insertion.

  • Edit the image(s) using Hootsuite’s built-in image editor
